ACADEMIC DIRECTOR
Dr. Cristina Cruz is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Academic Director of the IE Center for Families in Business. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Carlos III University of Madrid.
Her research focuses on understanding the decision-making process of family businesses and business families. His studies related to corporate governance, philanthropy and entrepreneurship in this type of companies have been published in the best academic journals of management. In recognition of her research work she has received several national and international awards and has been appointed Associate Editor of Family Business Review.
As director of the IE Center for Families in Business, Dr. Cruz leads numerous applied research projects through which, in collaboration with other institutions, he tries to help business families overcome their great challenge: to create value over generations.
