Paper Development Workshop held by University of Jönköping (Sweden)

On the 4th of December 2019 Cristina Cruz, Director of the IE Center for Families in Business and  Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Business at IE Business School, participated as a speaker and main discussant in a “Paper Development Workshop” organised by Center for Family Enterprise and Ownership and hosted by the University of Jönköping (Sweden). In this occasion, Prof Cristina was accompanied by the PhD student, Laura Jiménez, who presented insights on proxy advisors.

The workshop focused on aspects that are often significant barriers to publishing: (i) Asking the right questions; (ii) Identifying a significant theoretical contribution; and (iii) Framing and presenting the study.  It counted with the ideas of talented experts in Family Businesses, Ruth Aguilera, Professor of Corporate Governance at Northeastern University Boston and Ethel Brundin, professor at Jönköping International Business School who discussed and shared knowledge on the topic.
