Event with Bedrock: multi-family office with 7 billion euros under management
The IE Center for Families in Business, in collaboration with the IE Family Business Club, hosted an event on wealth management for families in businesses.
The speakers were Ariel Arazi, co-founder of Bedrock, a multifamily office managing over €7 billion in assets, and Richard Rimer, founder of Top Venture, a venture capital fund that has invested more than €1 billion in private iconic tech companies.
Ariel and Richard talked about the evolution of the Family Office industry, current trends, the importance of succession planning to avoid family conflicts when transferring wealth, and the need to educate the next generation about the concept of "wealth." Ariel pointed out that running a company successfully is different from being a successful investor, highlighting the key role family offices can play in effective wealth management.
After the session, students continued the conversation with the speakers during a networking event.
